(but I didn’t need to tell you that ❤ )

When I was a young boy, I wished for the world
When I grew up I found such a beautiful girl
She loved me and I loved her
And our love made the world a wonderful blur

Around and around and around we danced
Oh, how happy was I when I took that first chance

I loved her all day, she loved me all night
Never once did we sleep still having a fight

When I left for work, she blew kisses from the door
It was too hard to tell who loved the other more

When twelve o’clock came I took out my lunch
She had tied little bows on my carrot bunch

When I mowed the lawn she brought me iced tea

All those sweet Fridays when we went out on dates

One night I came home and she took off my shoes

When our baby girl came, I loved her so much
She cooed at me like I had the gentlest touch

Now we stay home no more nights on the town
I have a beer belly and she sleeps in a gown
But we are so happy and I love my two girls
