Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, Margery Lucille Gillard, and to all the moms– neighborhood, church, school, little league, Air Force–who raised me.
I am a little piece of each of you.

It’s always curious, that mother’s days should be different in different places. Our was back in March. Looking forward to reading your novel – just saving up the time!

I’m nearly finished revising. Hopefully, a wise, discriminating literary agent will be enamored of the story and beg to represent me 🙂

Yeah, it’s your baby but someone else has to decide whether they like it or not. And no writer can imagine it not being liked. I will keep everything crossed.

Soon! I’m writing a post about my camping and hiking trip in Maine.
I need to get back to regular writing. The best way is to start writing another novel. When I do that, I find it easier to write blog posts than novel chapters.
“Okay. Today I write 2000 words in my novel.”
(Borrrrring. I think I’ll write a haiku for my blog.)
(Hmmm, a poem just occurred to me.)
I really should finish that chapter.
Maybe I’ll see if Gottfried has posted anything new yet. (What a mind that guy has. Amazing they haven’t locked him up yet.)
Today I finish chapter 3! Yaaaay!! (Ugh… Why’d I start this novel?)
Only 78,000 words to go. (Kill me now.)
Thanks for checking on me! 🙂
Cheers, Gottfried!
